England's Conifers: Not Quite What We Wanted

 

I have written this paper to support the Q&A panel discussion on "Future Planting and Wood Supply" at the Confor Woodland Show, 10 September 2015, where I will be a panel member.

 

My paper seeks to stimulate a discussion on the role of conifers in England, their current status and their future potential, especially in relation to new planting.
